Balloons – Working with pre- and post- bereaved children, young people and their families in Exeter, Mid and East Devon, Balloons (Bereavement And Loss LOoking ONwards) provides services for young people who have been bereaved and advice for parents and professionals at pre-bereavement stage. 



Brain Tumour Support – Brain Tumour Support is dedicated to providing support for patients, families and carers so no one feels alone facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. They provide individualised and specialist information, guidance and emotional support, at any point from diagnosis and for as long as it is needed.


Carers Trust – Carers Trust provides information and links to support you if you are a young carer or a young adult carer.

Haven – Support for young people – improving mental wellbeing, alleviating social isolation, safe environment to discuss feelings and emotions. Please talk to your Young Carers Worker if you would like to attend the Open Door Exmouth Group.


Health Talk/Young People Health Talk 

Health Talk/Young Health Talk provide information for young people, from young people. Supported with film clips (which you can save in a handy online scrapbook) the website presents information in an engaging format for young people on a variety of health related issues.





MS Society – Information and advice relating to caring for someone with Multiple Sclerosis. Also access to books/leaflets which help young children to understand MS.



NACOA – The National Association for the Children of Alcoholics provides support for those caring for someone with an addiction to alcohol.



NHS –  Information about your rights as a young carer on the NHS website.




Young Carers Council – An active group where young carers can have their voices heard. We welcome feedback about Devon Carers and the services we offer as well as enabling young carers to have their say about other services they may encounter as young people in Devon.
